At LS Tuition, we pride ourselves on being able to provide a superior Virtual Learning experience
for all of our students.
Our qualified LS Tuition Tutors make use of our Virtual Learning Classroom; a fully interactive space which allows students and tutors to collaborate together and work in real-time using various interactive features, teaching resources and learning tools.
It is a common misconception that In-Person Learning and Teaching is far superior to Virtual Learning. At LS Tuition, we strive to find new and innovative ways to exist in our ever-changing, and ever technologically-expanding, world whilst keeping your child’s education and progress at the forefront of everything we do.
Please see below for just some of the benefits that our Virtual Classroom Software provides our students:
- Students and Tutors can see/hear each other throughout the duration of the lesson as well as having a virtual ‘workspace’ which both can use to interact in real-time.
- Tutors can upload documents to the workspace allowing both Tutors and students to work on all means of learning activities including; Maths and Numeracy Problems, Reading, Writing, Spelling, and many other collaborative learning activities.
- Tutors make use of a special ‘pointer’ feature which allows them to alert the student to specific parts of each resource, at any given moment.
- Tutors can upload all kinds of resources including; Word documents, PDF files, PowerPoints and Educational Videos.
- Tutors can download and save documents from the classroom which both Tutors and Students can then access for homework purposes, re-upload to the following lesson's classroom, and continue in the next lesson.
- Both students and Tutors can 'screen share' making use of this to allow us to view additional resources from each other’s devices.
- The classroom offers an expansive range of easily accessible classroom tools which allow both student and Tutor to write and draw on the screen, zoom in and out for ease of writing/reading, use various mathematical tools (such as; shapes, measuring tools etc.), highlight and erase, and various other such features – all of which are accessible enough for children to use independently.
